Only now does it occur to me... DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE!

Only now does it occur to me... that Jeremy Irons' portrayal in DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE is equal parts Claus von Bülow (his German-accented, Oscar-winning role from REVERSAL OF FORTUNE)... and Sting!

    Heh, well, they didn't go very deeply into Simon Gruber's backstory beyond the generic dossier, so perhaps we'll never know for sure!

    Somebody should write a screenplay for a film about Jeremy Irons, in which he puts his spouse into a coma after an especially intense bout of tantric sex.
