Only now does it occur to me... that today is actually the five year anniversary of this blog!
JCVD was similarly taken by surprise.
I wish I had a better review for you today than HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION, but whaddya gonna do. Special thanks to my readers and fellow film bloggers, without whom this anniversary would not have been possible!
Congrats! Is it a coincidence that your 5-year anniversary came mere days after JCVD's 53rd birthday! Probably! But still way cool! Here's to the next five years!
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteThank you– and let's call JCVD a happy, kick-blasting coincidence!
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI don't comment much, but I've been coming to your site for about 3 of those 5 years and just wanted to say I always enjoy your reviews.
I think I originally found your blog when I was searching something about Henry Silva haha.
Buck,
ReplyDeleteGood to see you, thanks for the kind words, and God love Henry Silva!
Hey Sean, congrats on your 5 year anniversary. To paraphrase Stan Lee - "You keep writing them, I'll keep reading them."
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jack– I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteSean, belated congrats on the anniversary! I've been following your musings since the glory days of Netflix reviews. Keep up the good work, always a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteThanks, man– Ah, the old Netflix days- seems like such a long time ago... glad you stuck around!
Congrats on the milestone! Wow, has it been that long? I've always found your reviews entertaining, enlightening and with a sense of panache worthy of Tom Atkins' moustache!
ReplyDeleteHere's to 5 more years! (*in best Frank Booth-style toasting voice*)
J.D.,
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend! Ah, how the time flies. I appreciate the Frank Boothian toast, now I just need a Dean Stockwell serenade!
This site has been bookmarked for years. Thanks for the entertainment.
ReplyDeleteBtw, have you watched the new Van Damme Volvo commercial? You can find it on Youtube.
Gweeps,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've enjoyed it, and thanks for the support! Indeed I have seen the new Van Damme commercial. Combined with his "Godaddy" commercial from a few months back, 2013 has clearly become a Renaissance for Van Damme splittage. I couldn't be happier!
