The Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library is partnering with the Empire State
Center for the Book for a series of Vonnegut-related events this weekend on Governor's
Island. At 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 23rd, I will be part of a reading program, reading my satirical short
sci-fi story "Forbidden Melodies from a Diminishing Octave," which was
previously published in So It Goes: The Literary Journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. The event is free,
